The DDLJ church moment is a detour from the Baar base: Saanen gives the famous exterior, while Montbovon carries the church-interior connection. If the family chooses this, protect the day by treating Lauterbrunnen and Wengen as the second priority, not a forced checklist.

Baar to Saanen St. Mauritius, then Montbovon St. Grat. Rejoin Lauterbrunnen only if daylight and energy remain.
